September is America’s National Sewing Month. A time (they say) to indulge your passion for sewing and is the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to the craft if youve never tried it before.
But we can celebrate it just as much in the UK.

New and experienced enthusiasts can find free sewing projects and Guidelines for sewing, embroidery, craft and appliqué articles available on the Sewing & Craft Alliance (SCA) website at http://www.sewing.org.

I set up Crafted By B Studio after retiring from writing a blog for over 10 years on chronic pain. As a chronic pain sufferer myself I had always used art as a way to relax and take me away from my pain and stumbled upon paint by numbers by fluke. I was hooked from day one and went into custom paint by numbers as I progressed with my others. Over the past 3 years I have completed over 20 pieces and also made some of my own unique pieces. So the Americans are following the lead of the UK in vintage things?

Well I think they do love the sewing bit but in particular sewing patchwork seems to be their speciality 🙂
