‘Cloth’ Magazine have an article about Boat People Boutique, which I thought I’d share with you. The Boat People Boutique have a brilliant blog that is packed full of fashionable tutorials and quick fix videos to help you upcycle your new wardrobe.
Check out their style diary for lots of ‘how to’s’, like DIY embellished sun glasses. There are so many ideas I’ve made a long list of ones I want to try.
Their blog is full of inspiring pictures and you can also buy from their boutique.

I set up Crafted By B Studio after retiring from writing a blog for over 10 years on chronic pain. As a chronic pain sufferer myself I had always used art as a way to relax and take me away from my pain and stumbled upon paint by numbers by fluke. I was hooked from day one and went into custom paint by numbers as I progressed with my others. Over the past 3 years I have completed over 20 pieces and also made some of my own unique pieces. I am happy to help anyone who might like a custom picture made into a piece of beautiful art using this type of technology. I am also interested in lots of different types of crafts which I enjoy with my 4 grandchildren so my site will have lots of links and posts on mixed crafts and arts.

I’m a bit like you but while I’ve been laid up I’ve had time to look and surf and read and read and I am definitely going for a big sort out when my plaster is off.
There are sooooooo many ideas of how you can upcycle your clothes even if some of them end up as a pinny. I need a new sewing machine and meant to put my old one on ebay yesterday which is a drag as I won’t change it until it sells.:)
