How do you like my vintage inspired lamps?
I lace is vintage and was my husbands grans. I have a bag full of lace and crochet squares, mats and tablecloths and with my daughter being so into vintage I decided to look for some to just pop over the lamps to give the vintage feel to them.
I’m really chuffed with them, I just hope she is too. :):)
With vintage maps popping up in all the home magazines, I couldn’t help but have a go at using an old map to cover an old cork board to put on the wall in my new study.
I then decided to make sure it stayed in place by changing it to look more like a pin board using old string and pins.

John Lewis has a fabulous World Map Cushion and a perfect Christmas gift for that time traveller has to be this antique-effect World Map Clock from Littlewoods.
You can even get world map wallpaper for that tiny space you want to cover. Great for a downstairs loo for something to look at while resting for a while :):)
