A DAILY SOMETHING…

Home sweet home

A Daily Something is a beautiful blog witten by a graduate who has dreams of being a prop stylist and even planner in NJ.

She started the blog in February 2011 and is her way of sharing her creative outlet for others to see and share and enjoy.

A Daily Something has a few regular series: DIY Projects | Style Column | Thrifty Entertaining | Recipes | Party Ideas.

Some of her most favorite things are vintage books, bulk quantities of office supplies organized beautifully, collecting all sorts of wonderful things for the home, thrifting, planning parties & events, and of course reading her favorite blogs every morning (noon & evening)!!

Well, I certainly enjoyed reading through her blog with lots of interesting projects you could try at home and well worth having a read through on a regular basis.

You will find A Daily Something on http://www.adailysomething.com/

GET CREATIVE FOR EASTER, MAKE YOUR EASTER EGG COSIES AND CHICKS…

EGG COSY

With Easter just around the corner I thought you might like these for patterns for ‘egg cosies’ and chics be them small for the boiled egg at home or for the gift for the grandchildren.

There are lots to choose from with some selling ‘egg cosy kits’, so there is no excuse to say that you cannot possibly make one.

My choice starts with Poppy Treffy Handmade in England, who makes handmade textiles for your home, you can either buy their kits or buy one ready made for a normal size egg.

Another one is a an owl egg cosy tutorial from Lucy Kate Crafts – http://lucykatecrafts.blogspot.co.uk/

Or you could go for this easy cute chick egg cosy pattern from ebay seller – see picture above http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/200588520619?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&adtype=pla

Another company Home, Home, Home http://www.homehomehome.co.uk do some lovely kits which contain all you need to make four pretty pastel coloured pompom chicks that can be hung around the home or put on the dining table for Easter.
