Vintage sewing patterns are available on a number of websites including Etsy.com and Ebay.co.uk/com but another couple of really good sites are ‘Vintage British Style’ they have vintage dressmaking patterns from the 1940’s to the 1990’s as well as women’s they also have men’s, children’s and doll’s clothes patterns.
Another site is ‘Sew Direct’, which stocks lots of Vintage Vogue Patterns from dresses, tops and skirts to hats and coats.
A fantastic name for two fantastic books.

This book is a step-by-step instruction book with full size patterns and guides you through thirty nightwear and accessories projects for adults and children.
From pleated camisole and shorts set to a frilled nightdress or a holiday kaftan. Vintage lovers will adore the vintage lace nightdress. It even has a cosy hot water bottle cover that you can see on the front of the book.

This book is full of gorgeous vintage-style projects that will turn your bedroom into a luxurious sanctuary. Quilted slippers, embroidered make-up bags, lounge suits and silky slips to name a few.
French knickers made from a worn shirt, a hot water bottle cover made from old curtains, these re-cycled gems are sure to become treasured favourites. All the sewing know-how you need is fully explained and shown with clear step-by-step illustrations. Handy pull-out pattern sheets take the hassle out of cutting out and tuck neatly into the back of the book.
