SEPTEMBER IS AMERICA’S NATIONAL SEWING MONTH…

Sewing is fun

September is America’s National Sewing Month. A time (they say) to indulge your passion for sewing and is the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to the craft if you’ve never tried it before.
But we can celebrate it just as much in the UK.

New and experienced enthusiasts can find free sewing projects and Guidelines for sewing, embroidery, craft and appliqué articles available on the Sewing & Craft Alliance (SCA) website at http://www.sewing.org.

The UK http://www.thesewingdirectory.co.uk/sewing-groups/ has lists of groups, workshops, how to guides and projects. Another excellent site is http://www.thesewingclub.co.uk/

So during September why not celebrate your passion, and the creative, therapeutic and calming effects of sewing.
