SOME ORIGINAL VINTAGE INSPIRED GIFTS…

Vintage

From Roullier White, I love this book ‘ How to Run a Thrifty Kitchen (£4.50) –it has 60 pages on how you can reclaim the power to feed yourself and your family on the tightest of budgets. Its full to the brim with advice from eras including the Great Depression, WW2 and the three day week of the 1970’s. Everything you need to know to transform your kitchen into a money saving powerhouse.

From Melody Maison, (£15.95) -I love this green metal rose pitcher jug – I had a cream one in my kitchen which has looked a bit worse for wear recently so I have popped it in the garden with a plant inside it. 🙂 I use mine for my weekly supermarket buy of fresh flowers.

Vintage

From Pimpernel and Partners, – I love these French Vintage Tea Towels. They have an eclectic range of vintage items for the kitchen, laundry room, garden, drawing room, bedroom, bathroom and cellar with coat hooks, linen sheets, vintage crates and lots more.

FANCY THAT FINE GIFTS FOR YOUR HOME…

Fancy That home

While spending a couple of days in Banbury, Oxfordshire, we came across this beautiful shop.

Jeanine, (the ownner) had my favourite CD (Lana Del Ray)playing when we entered this bijo mix with vintage and modern shop full of wonderful gifts and home décor.

Her collection includes an elegant selection of sterling silver jewellery, Danish décor collections, aromatic candles and lots and lots of home decorations and accessories.

There was so much I wanted to buy that we decided it would be better to return on our way back to the Hotel for another look around it all.

I bought these beautiful vintage inspired glasses case and this pretty sign for my downstairs loo.

Have a browse on her website or if your in the area you must pop in to see her extensive range of gifts, http://www.fancythatfinegifts.com/index.html
