‘Seek and Adore’ is an online designer maker directory and they are running ‘The Great British Makers Campaign.

They want you to vote for your favourite crafts person then whoever gets the most ‘likes’, by mid August, will be declared the ‘People’s Favourite’.

An expert panel will also vote for the title, ‘Britain’s Most Creative Maker’.

The website ‘shop it to me’, http://www.shopittome.co.uk is an online site where you sign up and tell them your favourite designers. You will then get a personalised email alerts telling you of sales, VIP events and secret promotion codes.

It searches for sales items on more than 480 top brands, from high end designers like Chloe and Marc Jacobs to popular high street branches like M&S and Gap.

You can specify your favourite brands, your size and what you are looking for, and then it only alerts you when some relevant items go on sale.

MY HAND MADE BABY KNITS…

Baby hats and booties

I am now ‘Great Aunty B’, (love it) my niece has had a lovely little boy (7lbs 2oz) after a gruelling 66 hours of labour. Fortunately mother and baby are doing fine 🙂

For the last few days I’ve been busy knitting in the right colour as they decided they wanted the sex to be a surprise.

This wool is adorable (King Cole Cuddles). I also knitted a white baby blanket as well and finished it with a blue ribbon trim (Pictures to follow soon).
