Whether your moving into a new home or leaving your home, either take your own curtains to be recycled at The Curtain Exchange or buy someone else’s that are the perfect match for your new house.
They say that at ‘The Curtain Exchange they can offer an extensive range of bespoke and ready-made curtains and blinds, as well as famous second hand curtain service, with co-ordinating accessories’.
They will display your curtains in one of its 11 nationwide stores for six months, for 40-50% commission.
Others that do a similar deal are http://www.curtain-call.co.uk in Surrey or http://www.curtain-transfer.com who are based in Harrogate. Both of these take a 45% commission for curtains left to sell.

We have often ‘recycled’ our curtains over the years….;)x

Oh me to Bushj, my mum (bless her) had a thing about quality curtains and she has been so right in that they have been recycled again and again and I still have some in the attic which my daughter now wants. Even some velvet ones that are back in fashion again. Just a shame I didn’t keep eveything else that is back in fashion :):) x
