7 IMAGES OF HYGGE STYLE BATHROOMS…

We have recently moved to a new home down south and the house we bought was nearly finished which meant the white suite and tiles were already fitted in the bathroom. All the rest of the room is also white so it was easy for me to finish it with accessories.

Check out these Hygge style bathrooms including this lovely one from Mother Distracted who say that by using a simple white base for your bathroom, the furniture will not only be timeless but also produce a serene space.

This one from Foam and Bubbles is another example of how white can be cosy. They say “Lighten, brighten and simplify” should be your new mantra when designing your bathroom. Painting your walls white maximises the light in your room, again brightening up the dark winter months.

This next bathroom is one of my favourites and shows how lighting can make such a difference. Hygge Home explain that Lighting can be one of the easiest ways to create a warm and cosy ambience in the bathroom. As an example, dimmable lighting is a great choice for the bathroom as it will give you an abundance of light when you need it with to create a calm atmosphere in the evening when you want to relax. Placing scented candles will also allow you to create a tranquil ambience.

I love the storage in this bathroom from Pinterest. I wish I’d thought of something like this. Simple but very effective.

You could be a bit more daring and add wallpaper like this one also from Pinterest,

And finally, The Culture Trip say that rather than a rushing for a quick shower in the morning, make sure your bathroom is a place for rest and rejuvenation. The trend for spa-style bathrooms is on the rise with even saunas – a favourite among Scandinavians – becoming more common in bathrooms across the globe. Simple is often best, however, and nothing beats a soak in a steaming hot bath. Invest in candles, fluffy bath robes, clever storage, good lighting and even a sound system to make your experience as relaxing as possible.

I set up Crafted By B Studio after retiring from writing a blog for over 10 years on chronic pain. As a chronic pain sufferer myself I had always used art as a way to relax and take me away from my pain and stumbled upon paint by numbers by fluke. I was hooked from day one and went into custom paint by numbers as I progressed with my others. Over the past 3 years I have completed over 20 pieces and also made some of my own unique pieces. I am happy to help anyone who might like a custom picture made into a piece of beautiful art using this type of technology. I am also interested in lots of different types of crafts which I enjoy with my 4 grandchildren so my site will have lots of links and posts on mixed crafts and arts.
