The Queen’s Coronation meant mass production of souvenir items, from biscuit tins to cigarette holders.
Tupperware parties were popping up with melamine plastic tableware very fashionable.
Wall art and prints of swans and flamingos, think Coronation Street. Everything was patterned, from wallpaper, carpets, curtains and cushions which are coming back into fashion at the moment.
The most popular tipple of the 1950’s was Babycham with collectable glasses with the babysham on them.

Guess what free – it’s mine – well not exactly mine but it was my late step fathers and most definitely vintage and working very well. I just changed the picture to black and White to make it more vintage looking. 🙂

I remember my Mum having tupperware parties lol Have to say I would love an old cocktail cabinet and proper cocktail glasses just to have an excuse to have a fab party x

I actually have them both. They are vintage and belonged to my late mother and father in law and I love them.
Nowadays there are similar parties to Tupperware which are coming back into fashion again, my daughter went to one recently called The Pampered Chef which sells kitchen stuff. 🙂

Well I thought my daughter would but she bought the wine holders for your green. The ones you push into the grass which you can just about get from anywhere. I just hope they don’t come up in the pound shop as they werent cheap !!
